Review Books: Ponzi Ekonomi by A. Prasetyantoko

 This book is my first reviewing about economic populer books. Should admit that I have the tendency to learn about economy than politic even I’m a politic’s scholar. In the concentration of study I just choose Economy Politic International (IPE) subject because for me it is more important and practical. So when I saw this book in the million stacks of books, I thought this is really adjust with my study. Without thinking in a long time, I buy this book and now its time to reviewing to all of you guys !

First time you see the cover, it’s titled PONZI EKONOMI, maybe you still do not understand what this book will talking about. But when you read the bottom “Prospek Indonesia di tengah krisis global”, you just understand what kind of book it is. This book want to tell us about how CRISES always haunt economic global in every second. How it can change and mutate in the different form, with the theoritical bases that make this book is complete to read. If you need to copied (in the legal terms), you can cite the references that avaible in the last page. The author is also give us the good analize about Indonesian prospect in the middle of global crises. 

Before this book launched, the Author has wrote the first book that got a positive response from the market, titled ‘Bencana Finansial’, similar with this second book. What so impressing about this book, for me, this is a popular books that written to all over kind of society, not only for academician. That is why while the accurate data are given, the author can written this books in the light and easy way to understand. I also love this form of book that has medium size, with the light paper that has been the Kompas Gramedia Published trademark. 

Besides the good side, I should mention about minus side of this book. This book, Unfortunetly, doesn’t provide you the strong thesis about ‘then’ and ‘so what’ argument as a conclusion. But I think it’s all okay as far as this book give you more knowledge about Indoensia and crises that rarely written in a book. I bought this for only Rp10.000,- while discount in Gramedia Bintaro Plaza
